Get an android tablet, each of them.  I'm porting tremulous to android.  As long as you get one with a decent processor, you should do fine :)

Do they have ports for mouse and key board cause you kinda need those. Also they are just as expensive as cheap computers. If you need one or the other get a computer.

Most have a mini usb, and all archos ones have a full usb.  Anywaus, they al detect devices plugges in.

Thats true and they dont have the mobility or internet capabilities of a tablet. I personally have been eying the xoom by motrola its pretty sexy. Still I think a computer is more important to get first... they still seem more useful.

Tablets are great. My wife owns one. It's like a chiwawa, small, useless, and breaks easy. Buy something that you can upgrade. Stop buying new computers every two years. Just get something reasonable that is expandable. If my daughter can wire up CAT5e punch down wall jacks at the age of 3, you can put a few RAM chips, PCI cards, and ect. If your OS goes to hell. Just reinstall. Portable devices are great if you are never home.
