Ok, here's an idea for you.
Needed: 1 USB Drive
Step 1: Download Ubuntu.
Step 2: Download Pendrive Linux.
Step 3: Install your ubuntu download onto the USB Drive
Step 4: Boot up your computer, holding the C button, (try f12 if that doesn't work.)
Step 5: Use Ubuntu from the USB Drive.
Step 6: Enjoy?
